Why crop a shipping label at all?

Almost every Indian marketplace hands sellers the same thing: an A4 PDF with a shipping label on part of the page and a tax invoice on the rest. Meesho, Flipkart, Amazon, Shopsy, GlowRoad, JioMart and Snapdeal all do a version of it, and so do the smaller platforms, aggregators and courier panels that never get their own tool page. This is the cropper for all of them.

There is nothing marketplace-specific about cropping a PDF. What matters is that you can see the page, put a rectangle exactly where the label is, and get back a file that contains only that rectangle at full print quality. That is what this tool does - and because you place the box yourself, it works on layouts we have never seen, including whatever your platform ships next month.

Frequently asked questions

Which marketplaces does this thermal label cropper support?

All of them. Because you position the crop box by hand over a preview of your own file, the tool does not need to recognise the layout. It is used for Meesho, Flipkart, Amazon, Shopsy, GlowRoad, JioMart and Snapdeal, and works equally well for courier panels, aggregator dashboards and international marketplaces.

Do my files get uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens in your browser using pdf.js and pdf-lib. Your PDF never leaves your device, is never uploaded, and is never stored by us. You can confirm it yourself: open your browser DevTools, switch to the Network tab, and crop a file - you will see no upload request. The tool even keeps working if you disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded.

What size is a 4x6 thermal label?

4 x 6 inches, which is 101.6 x 152.4 mm, usually sold as 100 x 150 mm rolls. It is the standard size for direct-thermal shipping label printers. When you print, set the paper size to match your roll and scale to 100% - "fit to page" is what shrinks barcodes.

Will cropping blur the barcode?

No. We do not convert your PDF into an image. The crop is a vector operation - we rewrite the page CropBox and MediaBox so the printer draws exactly the same vector artwork inside a smaller frame. Text stays text and the barcode stays a barcode at full resolution, so scanners read it exactly as well as the original.

Can I crop a PDF with pages of different sizes?

Yes. The crop box is stored as fractions of the page rather than absolute points, so it maps proportionally onto each page. When page sizes vary a lot, turn off "Apply to all pages" and crop the odd pages individually.

Do I need to install software or sign up?

Neither. It is a web page that does the work locally. No account, no app, no browser extension, no email address.

What is the maximum file size?

50 MB, which is several hundred label pages. The limit exists because everything runs in your browser’s memory - it protects your device rather than our servers, of which there are none.

Can I use it offline?

Yes, once the page has loaded. The pdf.js worker is served from this site rather than a CDN, so after the initial load you can disconnect and the cropper keeps working. It is the clearest demonstration that nothing is being uploaded.
