About the Flipkart label crop tool
Flipkart Seller Hub hands you an A4 PDF per batch of orders, with the Ekart shipping label on the upper portion of each page and the tax invoice below it. The label carries the tracking barcode Ekart scans at pickup, the destination hub code, the return address and the order item line. Everything below it is accounting paperwork the rider has no use for.
The Ekart barcode is the part that matters most. It is scanned at pickup, again at the origin hub, and at every sort point down the line. When you print a full A4 page onto a 4-inch thermal roll, the printer scales the page by roughly half - and a barcode at half width with the bar gaps compressed is exactly the kind of print that reads on the third try, or gets your shipment marked RTD-pending because the rider could not scan it. Cropping first means the barcode prints at its intended size.
Drop your Flipkart label PDF into the tool below. The crop box starts on the top half, which fits standard Seller Hub layouts; drag or resize it if your batch differs. The crop is done as a vector operation - we rewrite the page box rather than re-rendering the page to an image - so the Ekart barcode, the hub code and the fine print all stay at full print resolution. Nothing is uploaded: the PDF is opened, cropped and saved entirely inside this browser tab.
How to crop a Flipkart shipping label to 4x6
Four steps, about ten seconds once you have the PDF from Flipkart Seller Hub.
Step 1: Download labels from Seller Hub
In Flipkart Seller Hub, open Orders, select the orders you are dispatching and download the shipping labels PDF.
Step 2: Open the PDF in this tool
Drag the file onto the Flipkart label crop tool on this page. It is read locally in your browser - no upload, no signup.
Step 3: Frame the Ekart label
Use the "Top half" preset or drag the crop box so the Ekart barcode, address and hub code are fully inside it, with the tax invoice outside.
Step 4: Crop and print
Click Crop & Download for a 4x6-ready PDF, then print at 100% scale (not "fit to page") so the barcode keeps its true size.
Why crop your labels
Cropping is not cosmetic. It changes what you spend on printing, whether Ekart can scan your barcode, and who else gets to see your customers' addresses.
Ekart scans on the first pass
Cropping before printing keeps the barcode at full size instead of scaling an A4 page down to a 4-inch roll.
Fewer RTD pickup failures
A rider who cannot scan a label leaves the shipment behind. A sharp, correctly sized label is the cheapest fix for that.
No upload, no account
The Seller Hub PDF holds your customers’ addresses. It is processed in your browser and never transmitted anywhere.
Thermal or A4, your choice
Output one label per 4x6 page, or four labels arranged on a single A4 sheet if you print on a normal home printer.
Frequently asked questions
Is this Flipkart label cropper free?
Yes, completely free. No account, no per-file limit, no watermark on the output.
Do my files get uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens in your browser using pdf.js and pdf-lib. Your PDF never leaves your device, is never uploaded, and is never stored by us. You can confirm it yourself: open your browser DevTools, switch to the Network tab, and crop a file - you will see no upload request. The tool even keeps working if you disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded.
Will Ekart still scan the barcode after cropping?
Yes, and usually better than before. The crop does not touch the barcode artwork at all - it only narrows the page frame around it. What actually breaks Ekart scans is printing a full A4 page onto a 4-inch roll, because the barcode gets scaled down. Cropping first removes that scaling step.
Will cropping blur the barcode?
No. We do not convert your PDF into an image. The crop is a vector operation - we rewrite the page CropBox and MediaBox so the printer draws exactly the same vector artwork inside a smaller frame. Text stays text and the barcode stays a barcode at full resolution, so scanners read it exactly as well as the original.
Does it work with Flipkart bulk label downloads?
Yes. Keep "Apply this crop to all pages" on and the whole multi-page batch is cropped in a single pass, however many orders it holds.
What print settings should I use for a 4x6 thermal printer?
Set the paper size to 4 x 6 inches (or 100 x 150 mm), scale to 100% or "Actual size", and turn off any "fit to printable area" option. Those fit options are what shrink barcodes. If your labels come out with white margins, check that the printer driver page size matches your roll.
My Flipkart PDF has the label and invoice side by side, not stacked. Can I still crop it?
Yes. Drag the crop box over whichever region holds the label - left half, right half, or any rectangle you like. The box is free-form, so any layout Flipkart ships works.
Can I keep the invoice too?
Your original download is unchanged, so it already has every invoice. If you want a separate invoice-only PDF, run the file through a second time with the crop box over the bottom half and save it under a different name.
