About the Meesho label crop tool

When you download orders from the Meesho Supplier Panel, you get a single A4 PDF where every page is stacked the same way: the shipping label with the courier barcode, order ID and delivery address sits on the top half, and the tax invoice with your GSTIN, item description and price sits underneath. Meesho builds it that way so one printout covers both the courier and your paperwork - but almost no seller actually wants both on the same sheet.

Printing that page as-is on a thermal printer is the expensive way to do it. A 4x6 thermal roll is 4 inches wide, an A4 page is 8.27 inches wide, so the driver scales the whole page down to fit. The barcode shrinks with it, the address text gets thin, and the pickup rider ends up scanning three or four times - or marks the shipment as a pickup failure. On an inkjet or laser printer you burn a full A4 sheet plus ink on a label that needed a fraction of it.

Is the Meesho label crop tool free?

Yes. It is completely free with no signup, no page limit, no watermark and no paid tier. The site is supported by ads placed around the tool, never inside it.

Do my files get uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens in your browser using pdf.js and pdf-lib. Your PDF never leaves your device, is never uploaded, and is never stored by us. You can confirm it yourself: open your browser DevTools, switch to the Network tab, and crop a file - you will see no upload request. The tool even keeps working if you disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded.

Does it remove the Meesho tax invoice?

Yes - that is what the crop does. Meesho puts the shipping label on the top half of each page and the tax invoice below it. Cropping to the top half keeps the label and drops the invoice from the downloaded file. Your original PDF is untouched, so keep it if you need the invoices for GST records.

Can I crop a bulk PDF with 100+ Meesho orders?

Yes. Leave "Apply this crop to all pages" switched on and every page in the file is cropped with the same box in one pass. Bulk downloads from the Supplier Panel use an identical layout on each page, so one crop box handles the whole batch. Very large files simply take a few more seconds.

Will cropping blur the barcode?

No. We do not convert your PDF into an image. The crop is a vector operation - we rewrite the page CropBox and MediaBox so the printer draws exactly the same vector artwork inside a smaller frame. Text stays text and the barcode stays a barcode at full resolution, so scanners read it exactly as well as the original.

My Meesho label has a long address and the preset cuts it off. What do I do?

Drag the bottom edge of the crop box down until the whole address block is inside it. The box is fully manual - that is deliberate. Auto-crop tools that guess a fixed line break exactly when an address runs long, which is when it matters most.

I do not have a thermal printer. Can I still use this?

Yes. Switch the output option to "4-in-1 A4" and the tool arranges four cropped labels on a single A4 sheet. You cut along the lines and stick them on. That is four orders per sheet instead of one, so a 100-order batch drops from 100 sheets to 25.

Does this work on a phone?

Yes. The crop box supports touch - drag it with a finger, resize it with the corner handles. Many Meesho sellers run their whole operation from a phone, so mobile was built first, not bolted on.
